Ingredient notes

Only a few ingredients are required for this recipe, it is quick to make and inspires healthy eating.

Almond Flour – The use of almond flour gives this recipe its texture and unique taste. It’s a must have ingredient in gluten-free cooking!

Coconut Flakes - We recommend you use organic unsweetened coconut flakes so that the recipe does not become too sweet.

Maple Syrup – As a Canadian company, we love to use local maple syrup in recipes but you can easily replace the maple syrup with organic agave syrup.

Coconut Oil – We recommend using organic virgin coconut oil and if you don’t like the taste of coconut you can use a deodorized coconut oil. The coconut oil will help to harden the balls once refrigerated so that they hold together well and create a nice smooth texture at the same time.
